In this March, I joined the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), CA, US, as a postdoctoral research scientist in Atmospheric, Earth, and Energy Division (AEED). LLNL is one of the US Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories, with the mission on research and development in support of energy security. My primary work here is focused on the development and application of computational models to investigate the multiphysics problems in enhanced geothermal systems (EGS).
Starting a new chapter of life is exciting but always poses some challenges. It is always emotional to say goodbye to somewhere you have stayed for almost eight years. At this moment, I would like to send my gratitude to all my friends, colleagues, and teachers in HKU. Also, I wish myself good luck to my future endeavors in LLNL!
